Once we have cleared all your questions, we will send you a health history format in order for you to fill out and send it back to us for our thorough review, this helps us to get to know your complete medical background and therefore will determine if you would be in the need of having extra preoperative tests besides the routine ones which include, lab tests, x-ray tests, evaluation by internal medicine, cardiologist, pulmonologist, etc.

Once everything is ready for your surgery, it will be scheduled according to your request and our schedule availability. It is important to consider that most of the patients are in the need of undergoing a preoperative diet whose duration will depend directly on your BMI, this will be planned accordingly to the date for surgery. In the immediate postoperative period your evolution will be closely evaluated, we will perform several tests to ensure everything is fine and you will be discharged only after two days of stay IN THE HOSPITAL, (not recovery house or hotel). You will be provided with all the necessary nutritional and post op care information needed before discharge.

Once your surgery date is confirmed, the only thing you have to do is arrive to the destination you have chosen, you won’t need to worry about anything else, we will take it from there, upon your arrival to the airport or hotel, everything will be ready and set up for your lodging and transportation back and forth, everything considered in our all inclusive package.
A detailed document with all the logistics will be sent to your email; you will be provided with contact information and names from people in charge of your transportation and the information from the hotel you will be lodged the day before your surgery. This document will explain in detail all the process: pick up time, meeting with Dr. Rosales, testing, surgery time, etc.
